Our Farm
Bridlebrook Farm Flowers is situated in rural Brooklin, within the vibrant and growing city of Whitby. After spending nearly two decades in Toronto, our family wanted a change from the hustle and bustle of urban living. We yearned for a slower paced life, one built around nature and surrounded by green space. In 2019, we settled in on a picturesque 10-acre farm, minutes away from the heart of Brooklin - truly a farm within the city! Having previously been operated as a farrier and training facility for horses, the land was lush and soil health was perfect for growing vegetation. In the first few years, we planted a huge garden of vegetables and one row of zinnias. I found great solace in tending to a flourishing garden and discovered that it was that one row of zinnias that brought me the most joy. My passion for growing and learning about flowers was ignited and there was no turning back. Which is why in 2022 we expanded our footprint and started exclusively growing flowers.
Each year we continue to grow, experimenting with new flower varieties and growing techniques. But most importantly, we continue to explore new ways to share and spread joy with our flowers within the community.
